San Vicente Reservoir Fish Report – 5/14/17

  • The bass bite has yet to recover from the last storm that came through, and has been pretty tough for most guys fishing artificials. Very early and late were the best times to pick a few of the finicky largemouth.

The bluegill bite is still good on nightcrawlers and small spinners such as Roostertails and Panther Martins. Lately the rocky areas around Lowell Island have been producing most of the lake’s big, bull bluegills.

No catfish were reported last week.
