We had a great week of fishing.

  • The bass bite has been picking up lately. Many reports of fish being caught in the early morning and late evening. There are even some reports of bass on beds or in search of beds. There are two more scheduled trout stocks for the season.

    Santee Lakes is a small set of 7 man-made reservoirs in Santee, CA about 17 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. Rainbow trout are stocked heavily in the winter months, and channel catfish are stocked equally heavily the rest of the year.
