Lake Skinner Fish Report – 5/21/17

  • The water temperature is between 68 and 70 degrees. Water flow is still going great.

    Trout: No action

    Carp: Medium Action. Plenty of big carp to catch. They’re easy and fun! Use your favorite carp doughballs over along the banks and under heavy cover.

    Striper: Medium Action. Striper are being caught with cut baits near the Inlet and over by the dam.

    Catfish: Medium Action. Catfish are still hitting over by Ramp 2 on chicken livers, anchovies and garlic shrimp.

    Largemouth Bass: Medium Action. Bass are in in post spawn. Anglers are catching them in shallow water near the reeds using frogs, flukes, jerkbaits and nightcrawlers.

    Bluegill: Slow Action. Anglers using white and yellow jigs, wax worms and live crickets.
