FINS is back with double the fun on June 22nd

The popular seminar series FINS (Fishing Instruction Night Series), put on by Anglers Marine the last couple summers will return in 2011 on Wednesday, June 22nd with not one, but two seminar speakers. Evergreen pro-staffers Justin Kerr and Shaun Bailey will conduct the season debut at Anglers Marine in Santee at 7 PM. As is the tradition, Anglers Marine will offer a free BBQ to guests beginning at 6:30 PM. A big raffle, with no doubt a ton of high-quality Evergreen tackle will be raffled off as well. But the real value is the opportunity to learn from the best, and Kerr and Bailey will divulge much of the information they’ve used and aquired as two of the top tournament anglers in the west.

Justin Kerr’s list of accomplishments include his win in the 2008 US Open, his title as FLW Tour Rookie of the Year in 2010, WON Bass Daiwa Cup Champion in 2007, FLW Stren Series winner at Havasu in 2008 and much more. He was also featured in the popular DVD “Big Bait Posse” hoisting swimbait bass over the rails on Southern California’s lakes. Known as a light-line finesse guru, Kerr has excelled in the west’s clear, deep reservoirs, making him an extremely valuable source of information for any angler looking to improve bass fishing results in Southern California.

shaun-baileyKerr’s partner in the tag-team seminar format, Shaun Bailey of Lake Havasu City has been red-hot on the local pro tournament scene as well. Bailey has a reputation for bagging big bass on swimbaits, dating back to his days in Southern California fishing Castaic and Casitas. His skills were prominently featured in the aforementioned “Big Bait Posse” DVD where he boated big bass after bass in action-packed sequences of the DVD. But Bailey’s tactics are tournament proven as well, and his numerous tournament titles at Havasu speak to his well-rounded skills. During a stretch of 3 years, Bailey won 6 boats as prizes for tournaments at Lake Havasu and he has been a threat to win many of the US Opens in recent years, with a couple 2nd place finishes demonstrating just how close he is to winning that crown as well.

Kerr and Bailey have been neck and neck battling each other for boats, big checks, and tournament titles over the last several years, but on June 22nd they’ll join forces and partner up to make you a better bass angler. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from two of the west’s best at Anglers Marine. As always, because this is a free event (with free food) chairs are limited.
