Coronado Islands Fish Report from Captain Alan Clowers

The yellowtail have been going off at the Coronado Islands in about 80 feet of water on the dropper loop and yo-yo iron.

  • They’re all meter fish right now – you have to meter around until you find them, sometimes 2-3 hours before they light up the meter. But when you find them its pretty much wide-open fishing out there right now.

    Moved out west near Vegas from Florida 2009. Going to be in San Diego and want to take my 17 yr old son fishing…He has Muscular Dystrophy and buzzes around in an electric wheelchair. Are there any boats that can accommodate a 300lb. wheeler and a 100lb kid…..He hasn’t ripped… Read more »
