Fish Report: Lightning, tuna and dorado

  • Content Ad
  • We had a good day yesterday fishing the local tuna grounds. We started at the North 9 but saw no signs of life and kept going north.

We hooked up on the troll after a while and it was game on! Nice yellowfin tuna and then we got lucky with dorado thrown in.

Our water temp climbed up to 71.5 in this area from 68.5 at the 9. The only bummer was when we got to the best area there was too much weather around. Lightning is not a boater’s friend. So we headed out of it and the guys got to pull in some calicos and barracuda on the beach.

If you haven’t got out for this action now is the time.
