Vagabond Sportfishing is reporting that they boated a giant Yellowfin Tuna today that is estimated at 390 pounds. The fish was caught in an area aptly deemed “Cow Town.” If that estimate holds up, it will be the largest tuna of the young season. The Polaris Supreme brought a 379.8 pound Yellowfin to the scales at Fisherman’s Landing not even two weeks ago, which was estimated at only 347 pounds. The Vagabond is on a “Cows or Bust” trip that is scheduled to return the morning of December 8th. We’ll let you know how this one ends.
