The fishing remains good to excellent, we have been getting limits on most of the trips. Lots of yellowfin around with a mix of yellowtail and dorado in the counts.
This is truly epic fishing right now for yellowfin tuna, yellowtail and dorado! For the last nine days in a row I have been blessed with good clients, fishing from 15 to 35 miles off Point Loma. Almost every day we have had limits of yellowfin.

Bluefin tuna, yellowtail and dorado are all on the chew and moving within 20 miles of Point Loma. I have been out fishing the outer banks; tuna pens, 1010, and the hidden banks for some real good action on the aforementioned bluefin, yellowtail and dorado. The bluefin are up to 75 pounds with most landing in the 40 pound class.
The kelp paddy fishing can be wide open on yellowtail once you find the right one. All fish are coming on fly-lined sardines on 30-50 pound test with fluorocarbon leaders.
