The lobsters are really starting to crawl good now. We fished San Diego Bay on Tuesday, October 8th and got 13 keepers. We found them crawling on channel ledges in 38 to 45 feet of water, using mixed salmon scraps and sardines as bait. The night started out slow with the first pull yielding only 4 shorts. The second pull saw 7 keepers including a 5 pounder. Each pull after yielded a couple keepers, and we finished up at midnight with those 13 which included some nice fatties. I’m running trips every night now, so book you trip!
