  • Jesse Hinkley had one heckuva season in 2016, fishing 27 eligible tournaments, the 4th highest total this year.

His campaign included the 2nd most top 10s and top 5s with 19 and 13 respectively, while also adding a trio of wins, one of those wins was in the San Diego Team Day Series “Tournament of Champions” – one of the more difficult tournaments held in San Diego this year. He also tallied a win at Hodges in May in a San Diego Team Day Series Tournament, and finished atop the board in a National Bass West Night Tournament at El Capitan in August.

Despite fishing a ton of tournaments, Hinkley only finished in the bottom half one time – a 23rd place finish in the first National Bass West Tournament of the season way back in November of last year. After that, he was lights out.

This is Hinkley’s first year finishing in the top 10, he was 15th in 2013 – his previous best finish.
